Just like Herbie's rhythm

It's easy to say what needs to be done.  It's easy to talk about the things we want to do.  It's easy to imagine how things should be like when all things start happening.  What's challenging is how to get it started, when the right moment would be, and more importantly who gets it done first.

This video of the interplay between the legendary jazz icon Herbie Hancock and his old musician buddies drummer Harvey Mason and bassist Marcus Miller explains very much the same principles behind how moments can freely take its form without confusing anyone.  It's always a beautiful experience to be creatively involved.
